Dr Fiona Longmuir

Dr Fiona Longmuir is a senior lecturer in the School of Education, Culture and Society at Monash University. Fiona’s recent research has been interested in the emotional and relational impacts of working conditions for teachers and school leaders. She has led two national projects to investigate teachers’ satisfaction with their working conditions and is part of a national team looking at the health and wellbeing of public school principals. Dr Longmuir has over 15 years’ experience as a primary teacher and school leader. She contributes regularly to public and policy discussions that seek to inform a sustainable, healthy teaching workforce in Australia.
