With over 30 years of experience in the public education system, Rosie’s mission as a dedicated Principal is to create a learning ecosystem that actively challenges inequity. Her leadership focuses on building high-performing teams that operate with agency and emotional intelligence. She aims to cultivate an educational setting where teams understand how students learn and ensure all students have a voice in their learning process. This requires providing coaching, guidance, and opportunities for collaboration and experiential learning.
Rosie believes that today’s modern learners require a dynamic and adaptable approach to education. By integrating technology and innovative teaching methods, they can meet the diverse needs of students and prepare them for the future. As a female leader, She is passionate about closing the gender equity gap through inclusive systems, structures, and curriculum. Addressing gender equity involves implementing a culturally responsive curriculum, effective teaching practices, and optimal learning conditions. Her goal is to ensure women and girls have equal opportunities to build their capabilities and excel in learning, earning, and leading.
